Hi All, Please try the following. Second is an asus H with 2 gb memory and gb hard drive. In reply to Shantanu Kaushik’s post on November 24, It will just sit there and list the contents of the first CD that inserted, and never refresh itself until it is disconnected from the computer tec reconnected.
I think ev original poster and I are having the same problem, with the same hardware. From this menu select Disable Driver Signature verification. I’m having the same problem.
What about a “generic” driver? That is the only program I could think of that would conflict with the drive but I have never had a problem with it in the past. Guess I should of actually tried the suggested fix before going on cv long spiel but, in my defense, nothing else I tried worked! Tell us about your experience with our site. I read the problem description and it sounds a bit different than what I am experiencing.
They’ve provided links to tweaking registry entries, but my system has none of the values listed texc edit. One is a desktop tower with plenty of power and both of the dvd power usb connectors are plugged in. But CDs are another story. On startup Press F8. This thread is locked.
