It does though work well for the purpose it was intended for, it did for me and has for many other people. Updating the old software is very expensive, so the decision was to stay with Windows 98 and try to source parts that can support this ageing operating system. After much searching and testing, I finally managed to install the Kingston DataTraveler on Windows If you have any issues, then follow the advice and reboot a second u-storage win I had drives A: The original disks and CDs went the way of a fire a few years ago and I have been trying to reconstruct the operating systems from another old pc along with Colorado tapes. Would love to be in touch as I am a regular Win 98SE user courtesy my home recording setup that I u-storage win98 in USB Flash Drive for Windows 98 Well of course you could use your floppy drive u-storage win98 but then I suppose they u-storxge to put one on your new computer so thats no use.

Open My Computer and your flash drive or device should be visible. Windows will detect your USB Ports and install appropriate drivers for ain98.

Wow man thanks so much for this I had already been to u-shorage and didnt find one ,I read your blog and went back and found the one you suggested the oem 98 and it worked ,it took me awhile for my win98 to find it ,or me to find it rather,lol but got it plus songs of the old jewel to put on my new computer after 2 years of not being able to find away,,dude you dont know how much I appreciate your blog thanks.
To remove the Intel driver on Windows 98, download the v3. On my computer the flashdrive is drive g.
